MVP Development
A fixed-scope first version of your product: the features launch actually needs, built properly and in accounts you own, so you can grow it instead of rebuilding it.
An MVP is the first version of your product that real customers can use and pay for. The skill is in deciding what it leaves out. We build MVPs for founders who know their industry well and need a technical partner to turn that knowledge into software that is ready for real customers at launch.
Who this is for
Most of the founders we work with have spent years inside an industry and can see exactly what software it is missing. They are not engineers, and they should not have to become project managers to get the product built. The engagement is designed so you make the product decisions and we carry the technical ones, in writing, where you can check them.
How scope gets cut
Every feature on the list gets one question: does the first paying customer need this on launch day? The answers go into a scope document with two columns, must-have for launch and later. The build covers the first column. The second stays written down, so nothing you want is lost. It waits for evidence from real customers.
What a fixed scope means here
Once the scope document is agreed, it defines what the build delivers, and the milestones are set against it before work starts. New ideas during the build are welcome. They are scoped separately, so the launch date does not quietly move.
How the build runs
Launch preparation is part of the build. We run the same pre-launch checklist on every product, and it is published, so you can see exactly what it covers.

What you own
The code lives in a repository in your company's account from the first week. Hosting, database and domain are registered to you. When the MVP launches, you own a working product and everything needed to keep developing it, with us or with anyone else.
Proof
Elvirio Host arrived as a written business plan and left as a working platform for short-term rental operators: calendars synced across booking sites, pricing intelligence, deal analysis and portfolio reporting. We handled the architecture, design, implementation, testing and launch preparation.

Already have a prototype?
If something already works, whether a freelancer built it or you made it with an AI tool such as Lovable, Bolt or Cursor, the first step is different. We read what exists, test what it actually does, and tell you in writing whether finishing it or rebuilding the core is the better use of the budget.

Questions we get asked
How long does an MVP take?
It depends on the scope, which is why the scope comes first. The milestone plan gives you a date for each deliverable before the build starts, and you can check progress against it at every milestone.
Do I need a discovery phase first?
Not always. If the idea is clear and the scope is modest, the scoping work happens as the first step of the MVP engagement. If the product is large or the risks are unclear, a separate discovery phase comes first.
What happens after launch?
You decide. We can keep developing the product on a standing roadmap, or hand it to your own team with the documentation they need. Either way, the product is yours.
Ongoing development after launch
If you have an idea and a clear sense of the market it serves, the first conversation is about what launch really needs. It takes 30 minutes and costs nothing.
